This Privacy Policy explains how BANGALORE PROP ("Bangaloreprop", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use bangaloreprop.com. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

BANGALORE PROP decides why and how your personal data is used, so we are the Data Fiduciary for it. We are a registered real estate agent under RERA, and our registration numbers are listed in our Terms & Conditions.

Our office is at 1st Floor, 13/1, Lakshmi Krupa, 18th Cross, 37th F Cross Road, 4th Block Jayanagar, Bangalore 560041.

2. The data we collect

We only ask for what we need to help you find and buy a home.

Details you give us: your name, phone number with country code, and email address if you choose to share it.
Your enquiry: the project you asked about, the button you pressed (for example, price list or site visit), a preferred date and time for a visit, or a loan amount on the EMI calculator.
Your consent record: that you ticked the consent box, the date and time, and the version of this policy you saw.
How you reached us: the page you were on, the website that sent you, and campaign tags on the link you clicked, such as a Google or Facebook ad.
Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, which our servers see and log for security.
Conversations: notes our team makes when we speak to you, and messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.

We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details or other identity documents on this website. Please do not send them through our forms.

3. How we use your data

To call, message or email you about your enquiry, and to share price lists, floor plans and brochures.
To arrange site visits and help you with the booking, paperwork and home loan, when you ask us to.
To suggest other projects that may suit your needs, which you can ask us to stop at any time.
To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve the website.
To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fraud, and meet our legal duties.

We use your data only for these purposes. If we ever want to use it for something new, we will ask you first.

4. Your consent

Every enquiry form on our website has an unticked box. By ticking it, you agree to be contacted about your enquiry and accept our Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy.

We do not treat silence, an empty box or a pre-ticked box as consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy as writing to us (see section 10).

Once you withdraw, we stop contacting you and tell anyone we shared your details with to stop too. Withdrawal does not undo what was done before it.

5. Who we share your data with

We share only what is needed, and only with:

The developer of the project you asked about, or its authorised sales team, so they can answer your questions, show you the site and process your booking.
Banks and home loan partners, only when you ask us for home loan help, such as through the EMI calculator.
Our service providers, who help us run the business: website hosting, our email service and our customer relationship (CRM) system. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.
Government bodies, courts or regulators, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not give it to unrelated companies for their own marketing.

A developer or bank that receives your details may also contact you. Their own privacy policies apply to how they use your data.

6. Cookies and similar tools

Our website stores small pieces of information in your browser. They remember the campaign that brought you to us, so your enquiry is credited to the right source, and they keep the site working properly.

We may also use analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Analytics, to measure visits and ad results. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site may then not work as expected.

7. Where your data is stored and how we protect it

Our website and its database run on servers in India. Some of our service providers, such as email services, may process data in other countries under their own safeguards and the law.

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected systems, access limited to the team members who need it, and regular backups.

If a personal data breach ever happens, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the people affected, as the law requires.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep your details only as long as we need them to help you with your home search. After that, we delete them or remove anything that identifies you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.

If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

Show you the data we hold about you and who we shared it with.
Correct, update or delete your data.
Stop contacting you, by withdrawing your consent.
Look into a complaint about how we used your data.

You can also name someone to act for you if you are ever unable to. Just email us (see section 10). We may ask you to confirm who you are first.

Please use the subject "Privacy request" so your message reaches the right person. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Children

Our website and services are meant for adults. Please do not send us personal data about anyone under 18 unless you are their parent or legal guardian.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The effective date and version at the top will change, and the new version applies from then on.

If a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
