If you are looking at Prestige apartments in Bangalore, the first thing to know is how wide the choice is. The builder has homes on nearly every side of the city, from Whitefield and Sarjapura Road in the east to Devanahalli in the north and Kanakapura Road in the south. You can buy an apartment, a villa or a plot, at a finished, ongoing or newly launched project.

Prestige has been building in Bangalore since 1986 and runs the business from the city. Most of its homes on our list are complete, which gives you real buildings to visit before you commit. Before you book, look up the RERA registration for the exact phase you are buying into, since large Prestige townships are often split into several. For ongoing and new projects, compare the promised date with the handovers of the builder's earlier phases in the same area. Several launches list possession in 2030 or later, so plan your finances for a long wait. Ask for a cost sheet that shows parking, club charges, GST and deposits.

With a builder this large, the resale market is active too. A finished flat in an older Prestige project can cost less per square foot than a new launch nearby, and you move in at once.

The price spread is wide. Starting prices run from about Rs. 43 Lakhs for compact 1 and 2 BHK homes to around Rs. 15 Crore for bungalows at Prestige White Meadows in Whitefield. First-time buyers usually look at the 1 and 2 BHK towers in the townships. Families upgrading tend to compare the 3 and 4 BHK layouts, and investors often weigh plots around Devanahalli, Jigani and Sarjapura Road.
