If you want a large home in Hyderabad and are open to the east rather than the costly west, Pedda Amberpet on the Vijayawada highway may suit you. The locality is in south-east Hyderabad near Hayathnagar, just outside the Outer Ring Road. The area is part of the eastern growth corridor that runs towards Pocharam and Adibatla. Homes here cost much less than on the western side of the city.

The Vijayawada highway is the main road, and the Outer Ring Road is close enough to link you with other parts of the city. Drive to your office at the busy hour before booking, since highway stretches can get crowded. Check the route to the nearest school and hospital too. Public transport can be thin in newer areas, so ask what buses run nearby.

Buying in a growing area has trade-offs. Shops, schools and hospitals may still be limited, and some may only be planned. With possession more than a year away, compare the builder's promised date with its record on earlier projects. Confirm TS-RERA registration and the layout approval, and have a lawyer check the land title. Ask how water will be supplied and who will maintain the internal roads.
