RBD Shelters

If you are looking around Haralur Road, RBD Shelters is a name you will see on two finished communities. RBD Shelters built both the RBD Stillwaters apartments and RBD Stillwaters Villas here. You get a choice between a flat and a villa in the same corner of south-east Bangalore.

The apartment project has 300 homes on 7 acres, handed over from August 2021. The villa project is larger in land, with 199 villas spread over 24 acres and possession from December 2020. We hold no founding year or head office for the builder, so its track record here rests on these two projects.

Since both are complete, you will mostly be buying resale or leftover builder stock. Ask for the occupancy certificate and the RERA number, and check the khata of the unit. For a villa, confirm the plot size and the built-up area in the sale deed. Ask the owners' association about monthly maintenance and any pending repair levies. Get the full cost sheet if you buy from the builder.

Starting prices are about Rs. 83 Lakhs for the apartments, which come as 2.5 and 3 BHK homes, and about Rs. 3.55 Crore for the villas, built on 30 x 56 plots. The flats suit young families who want a finished home. The villas suit buyers who want their own house and garden in a gated setting.
