Brigade Horizon on Mysore Road: Buyer's Guide (October 2026)
Brigade Horizon is a low-rise apartment project by Brigade Group at Kambipura on Mysore Road, West Bangalore. The project is nearing completion, with a registered completion date of 31 December 2026. It has 372 homes in 18 blocks on 5 acres, in sizes from 1 BHK to 4 BHK. This guide covers who the project suits, the location, the homes and prices, the construction status and the checks to run before buying.

Who the Project Suits
Brigade Horizon is planned for buyers who prefer a low building to a tall tower. Sixteen of the 18 blocks have only three or four floors, so lift waits are short and the gardens are close to every home. Blocks A and B are taller, at nine floors each, and hold the largest homes.
The address works best for households with a workplace or college on the western side of the city. Staff at the Bidadi industrial area, families with students at the nearby campuses and first-time buyers from Kengeri and Rajarajeshwari Nagar are the natural audience. Buyers who need a short commute to Whitefield or the airport will find the distance a daily cost.
Location and Connectivity
The site is on Mysore Road, next to the border of Kumbalgodu village and a short drive beyond Kengeri. The ten-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway passes the project and carries traffic towards the NICE Road junction and the city. The Purple Line of Namma Metro ends on this side of the city at Challaghatta, one stop after Kengeri station.
Drive times from the project to the main places nearby are listed below:

These are off-peak times, and Mysore Road slows at the Kengeri and NICE Road junctions during office hours. A test drive at the hour of the daily commute gives a truer picture than a map estimate.
Homes and Prices
Brigade Horizon offers four home types, from a compact 1 BHK to a 4 BHK in the two taller blocks. Sizes in the table are super built-up areas.

The price per sq ft is about Rs. 7,150 for the 1 BHK and about Rs. 9,200 for the 4 BHK, on super built-up area. Carpet areas are about 409 sq ft for the 1 BHK, 635 to 667 sq ft for the 2 BHK and 915 to 990 sq ft for the 3 BHK. The 4 BHK homes have carpet areas of about 1,658 to 1,722 sq ft, and some of them come with a large private terrace.
The project is almost sold out. The quarterly update filed in July 2026 recorded 368 of the 372 homes as booked, and the four homes left were 4 BHK units in Blocks A and B. Layout and Amenities
The 18 blocks are spread across the plot with the open areas between them. Blocks A and B have nine floors, Blocks C and D have three floors and Blocks E to R have four floors. Six of the blocks have a basement level for parking, and the rest use surface and covered parking.
Amenities at Brigade Horizon are grouped around a community hall, a pool and lawns. The main ones are listed below:

Construction Status
Brigade Horizon construction began in June 2022. The update filed on 15 July 2026 recorded Blocks C to R, 16 in all, as 100% complete. Blocks A and B were at 95%, up from 75% in January 2026, which leaves finishing work ahead of the registered completion date of 31 December 2026.
The registration declares no litigation on the land. The building plan was approved by the Bangalore Development Authority in May 2022. Water is planned from borewells, the BWSSB and the local authority.
Checks Before Buying
A purchase at this stage is partly a new sale and partly a resale, so the papers differ from home to home. These steps cover the main points:
- Look up the RERA number on the Karnataka RERA portal and read the latest quarterly update
- Ask for the occupancy certificate of the chosen block, as GST applies to a home sold before that certificate is issued
- Confirm whether the BWSSB water connection is live or the block depends on borewells
- For a resale, ask for the registered sale deed, the encumbrance certificate, the khata and a no-dues letter
- Match the carpet area and the car park number in the agreement with the registered plan
- Add stamp duty and registration to the budget before fixing the loan amount
Stamp duty on a home above Rs. 45 Lakhs is 5.6% with cess and surcharge, and registration is a further 2%. On a Rs. 85 Lakhs home that adds about Rs. 6.46 Lakhs to the price. Other Brigade Group projects in the city give a useful comparison before a decision.
