Properties in Vanagaram

Buyers who shortlist flats in Vanagaram are usually after one thing: easy movement across Chennai without driving through the middle of it. The locality lies in the west of the city, where the Chennai bypass meets the Poonamallee road. The Ambattur industrial estate is close by. Housing here went up quickly over the last ten years or so, which is why most buildings look new.

It offers 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats from about Rs. 76 Lakhs, with handover from December 2023. RWD Grand Corridor, by RWD (Ramky Wavoo Developers), has 356 homes on 3.82 acres. Its 2 and 3 BHK layouts start near Rs. 83.8 Lakhs, and handover began in February 2024. With both buildings complete, you can compare real flats side by side rather than brochures.

Road access is the strength here. The bypass lets you reach other parts of Chennai without crossing the congested centre. The IT offices on the western side are a short run away, and so is the Ambattur industrial belt. Even so, junction traffic can be heavy, so try the drive to your workplace during a weekday rush before deciding.

Every locality has its trade-offs, and a fast-grown one needs careful checks. A large project like Prestige Windsor Park brings more amenities but more residents sharing them. A smaller one like RWD Grand Corridor may feel quieter. For either, ask for the occupancy certificate, the approved plan and the title chain. Check the registration on the TNRERA portal. Ask how water reaches the building in summer, and what the monthly maintenance covers. Noise from the bypass is worth checking too, so visit the flat you would buy, not only the model home.
