Buying from Tata Housing in Bangalore today mostly means looking north, towards Devanahalli, where the developer runs two plotted layouts and a large apartment township. It also builds on Tumkur Road and in Banashankari in the south. The range covers bare plots, compact 2 BHK flats, family-sized 3 and 4 BHK homes and townhouse formats, so the same brand can mean very different purchases.

The group dates back to 1984 and is run from Mumbai. In this city, the finished home you can walk through is TATA The Promont in Banashankari, handed over in December 2017 with 3 and 4 BHK units on about 14 acres. TATA New Haven on Tumkur Road is the biggest in scale, with 1,892 apartments on 25 acres. Occupancy certificates for its Towers 1 to 34 came between November 2016 and September 2020, while its later phases have no published handover date.

Several of these communities are sold phase by phase, so ask for the RERA number of the exact phase and tower you are paying for. TATA Varnam in Devanahalli shows August 2030 on listings, but the developer has not published a date; get the committed date written into your agreement. The plotted layouts carry possession from 2026 onwards. Ask for the full cost sheet as well, because every figure quoted here is a starting price.

Budgets begin at about Rs. 67 Lakhs at New Haven and reach about Rs. 3 Crore at TATA Promont Phase 2. First-time buyers and small families will find the Tumkur Road flats the easiest way in.
