About Bommasandra
Working in Electronic City or the industrial belt beyond it, and want a shorter commute? This suburb lies at the southern end of Bangalore on the Hosur Road corridor, past Electronic City. It holds a large industrial area along with a cluster of pharmaceutical and biotech firms. Apartments in Bommasandra are built mainly for people who work in those units and in Electronic City just to the north.
Almost everything here is under construction, and the homes come in a tight price band. Shriram Codename Ultimate, Shriram Royal Court and Shriram Sapphire all quote possession from December 2028. Abhee Serenity Springs is also being built, while Abhee Skyline Vista is ready to move in. Two- and three-bedroom apartments are the main formats, with some three-bedroom units offering a third bathroom. Starting prices run from about Rs. 70 Lakhs to Rs. 1.04 Crore, which suits first-time buyers and young families.
The Yellow Line metro ends in this area, the biggest recent improvement to getting around. It links the suburb with Electronic City and onward towards the city. Hosur Road remains the main road for car journeys north and south. If you plan to rely on the metro, check how far each project is from the nearest station and whether the walk is safe after dark. The industrial area and Electronic City are the main employers within easy reach.
Weigh the convenience against the setting. Living close to factories can mean truck traffic and noise on some streets, so visit at different times of day. For the ongoing projects, read each RERA registration for its committed date and compare the builders' past handovers. With several projects from the same developer, compare their cost sheets carefully, since parking and club fees differ. Ask how water will be supplied, as outer southern areas often rely on borewells and tankers. For the ready project, ask for the occupancy certificate and khata.
For comparison, Electronic City, Chandapura, Hebbagodi and Anekal offer homes in the same southern job market.
