Looking for apartments in RT Nagar usually means you want a finished, lived-in neighbourhood rather than a new corridor. The layout dates from the 1960s and belongs to the North zone of Bangalore, between the city centre and Hebbal. It is mostly residential, with an established, mixed character that newer suburbs take decades to acquire.

New housing is scarce because the area is fully built. What appears comes from redevelopment of older plots, one building at a time. Also confirm water supply arrangements and the width of the access road, since older layouts were planned for lower density. Ask for the cost sheet in writing, including car parking, club charges and the GST due at each stage of payment.
