If you want land of your own on the airport side of Bangalore rather than a flat in a tower, IVC Road is where much of that land is being sold. The road branches off Bellary Road and heads towards Devanahalli, crossing the aerospace and industrial belt of North Bangalore. Bellary Road is your main route, running south towards the city and north to the airport. IVC Road itself is a working corridor lined with industrial and aerospace sites rather than a settled neighbourhood. Expect to drive for most errands, and check how far the nearest bus route runs from the layout you choose.

A plot is a longer game than a flat, and the checks are different. Confirm the layout approval from the planning authority, the land conversion order and a clear title chain for the parcel. Ask which services the developer will hand over, such as roads, drainage, water and power lines, and when. Until homes are built around you, the surroundings may stay sparse, so think about how long you can hold the land before you build.
