Properties in Nanakaramguda

For anyone whose office is in Hyderabad's Financial District, the obvious question is whether to live right next to it. Nanakaramguda is the locality that contains the district, in the west of the city between Gachibowli and Kokapet. It was developed as a zone of corporate campuses, so homes here are set among office towers rather than in an old residential neighbourhood.

Getting around is mainly about the short trip to work. A metro line from Raidurg to Kokapet has been proposed, and it would pass through the locality, but it is not built yet, so do not base a purchase on it. Until then, travel is by road, and the roads around the campuses get very busy when offices open and close.

The trade-offs of living in a business district are real. Evenings and weekends can feel quiet, and daily shopping may mean a drive. Office-hour traffic can make short trips slow. Check the project's registration on the TS-RERA portal and ask for the occupancy certificate. Ask how water is supplied and what monthly maintenance costs.
